Delaney 2020 Presidential Campaign Continues to Grow, Adds Iowa Digital Director to Communications Team
WASHINGTON – Today, John Delaney’s 2020 Presidential campaign announced the hiring of Greg Hauenstein as Iowa Digital Director.
Greg Hauenstein is a digital media producer and strategist. He moved to Iowa from Canandaigua, New York in 2007 where he began working on Obama’s successful 2008 Iowa Caucus campaign and went onto become the first Digital Director of the Iowa Democratic Party starting in 2009. Since 2012, Greg has been the lead web developer at GPS Impact, a public affairs and political strategy firm in Des Moines.

Greg lives on the South Side of Des Moines with his wife Emily Holley and daughter Eloise.
Background: Delaney just finished up his 17th trip to Iowa this past weekend where he spoke as one of the headliners at the second annual Polk County Steak Fry. In August, Delaney became the first Democratic Presidential candidate since 2007 to complete a tour of all 99 counties in Iowa. Delaney’s hard work in Iowa is paying off. A recent poll showing that 79% of Iowans are familiar with his name. In addition to the campaign’s growing communications department, Delaney continues to expand his on the ground field operations with organizers in five, major Iowa cities.
